FOR THOSE IMPACTED BY HURRICANE SANDY

UPDATE FROM COMPARATIVE EFFECTIVENESS SUMMIT HOTEL

The Grand Hyatt Washington is looking forward to the arrival of the National Comparative Effectiveness Summit. The hotel and surrounding area suffered no damage from Hurricane Sandy and we stand ready to welcome you. Transportation in Washington is back on normal schedules, with the Metro subway and bus systems as well as taxis and roadways fully open and available. Both Washington Regan National Airport (DCA) and Dulles International Airport (IAD) are open for business and fully operational. Today's arrival/departure boards at both airports show only a handful of cancellations- primarily to/from La Guardia and Newark airports serving New York City. We anticipate that, as the weekend approaches, that these remaining cancellations will be alleviated as those airports return to full functionality. For more information about specific airlines or flights, we recommend you consult http://www.fly.faa.gov/flyfaa/usmap.
